Guides

Plain guides to programmatic SEO, AI search visibility and technical SEO for data-rich companies: what works in 2026, what to avoid and where to start.

What programmatic SEO is

Programmatic SEO builds many useful pages from structured data, one page per real search need: a location, a product type, a comparison. It works when every page answers a question better than what already ranks. It fails when pages are thin copies with a new keyword swapped in.

When it makes sense

You need data nobody else has, or data combined in a way nobody else offers. Listings, inventories, prices, specifications and local knowledge are good starting points. If your data fits on one page, you need a good website, not a page system.

How AI search changes the game

ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI answers cite sources they can read and trust. Clear facts, consistent structure, real authorship and fast, crawlable pages make you easier to cite. Volume without substance does the opposite.

Technical basics that still decide everything

Pages must be crawlable, fast and clearly linked. Use one canonical address per page, a sitemap with only pages you want indexed, and noindex on pages you do not. Check what Google actually indexes in Search Console, not what you hope it indexes.

Where to start

List the questions your customers ask, check which ones your data can answer, and test a small set of pages first. Measure, improve, then scale. A Snapshot or Strategy session with us follows the same order.
